Packaging/Design: 4.5 out of 5
Review: This curler is very quick and easy to use. It takes me only 15 minutes to curl all my hair (I usually take half an hour with a regular curling iron). It's also very easy to learn how to use it and get the hang of it. The only reason I gave it a 4.5 out of 5 for package/design is because it's a bit heavy. Otherwise, it's an excellent hair styling tool. I give a more in-depth review and demo of the product in the video below. Note: I believe this product is called Curl Freak in the USA.

      Thank you! Yes, they are almost the same. I think the only difference is that you can choose the direction of the curl with the Rusk MiraCurl? :)

    Oh my gosh, I think I would be too scared to use that...it looks frightening (but those curls are gorgeous!)

      Thank you! Yes, it's a bit scary at first but as I mentioned, if your hair ever gets caught, just immediately release the clamp. :)

      Thank you, Kerri! :) Yes, it's a bit scary at first. My hair got jammed once or twice. But it was fine. Released it immediately.

    Those curls look amazing! Im staying away from heat styling at the moment because my hair is FREAKING out but maybe one day i'll get this :3

    I just purchased the Rusk Curl Freak and am waiting for it to arrive!! Since you published this review back in 2013, have you had any updates about this product? Any new thoughts or ideas? How did the device hold up over time?
